Telus Reviews: Popular for the Right Reasons
Waited for 5 hours yesterday for a service rep to show up and he never did. Called today and asked to speak to a manager and was told there aren’t any available today!? It is obvious that Telus is not listening to all these negative reviews so they obviously don’t care.

We recommend the Telus PureFibre 1.5 Gigabit plan for gamers. Not only is it ultra-fast, but it has low latency. With fast upload and download speeds you won’t worry about any interruptions in your gaming experience. Telus currently offers 12 internet service plans with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and pricing starting at $10.00. Since Telus has taken over this is the worst company to deal with.
Telus’ Internet 25 plan features 25 Mbps speeds, and is therefore the provider’s slowest plan. On the other end of the spectrum, Telus’ Pure 1.5 Gigabit plan offers the fastest speeds you’ll find anywhere via the provider’s fibre network. The Telus internet plan is the Internet 25 plan at $75/month. Although DSL internet connections are slower than fibre, this plan may suffice if you’re a light internet not looking to spend an arm and a leg on internet. The managers in customer service and dispatch should all be fired! If you are looking for a home security company read these reviews and go somewhere else!!! This security system has been awful since the start. After only a few months of installation, the backyard cameras would lose connectivity and we noticed that the doorbell stopped working.
After several frustrating calls, I asked they just send a tech to fix it since we weren't getting anywhere. The tech was here for 15 minutes, he did most of it from inside his vehicle, but miraculously it was fixed and we were satisfied. However, a month later, we received a bill for $120.00 for that service. I tried contacting appropriate levels via email and phone to dispute the charges, but no luck there. The eventually just stopped charging me for my regular service that comes off my credit card and adding that to the outstanding amount owing for the BS service they provided.
